Sexy wagon? Yes. Sexy purchase?
Competition has never been fiercer. I don’t think consumers have ever had as much choice as they do now. Compared to 20 years ago, cars are affordable and as every maker tends to move upscale, we are getting more for our money. What’s left then for those facing the decision as to which car to buy? Can you guess? The brand. The name. The name brand. Why do you suppose people are gaga over Coach, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, North Face, etc?
At this point in time, Cadillac IS making a comeback. Good things are coming such as the XTS (slated to replace DTS and STS). Unfortunately, at this very moment, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Lexus are the Coach, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton and North Face of the auto world. Caddy’s time will come and the CTS (especially the wagon if you ask me) will be instrumental in its return to glory.
