Skip Shift (CTS–V)
Under light acceleration, the transmission will only allow shifting from 1 (First) to 4 (Fourth).
This helps improve fuel mileage.
Under harder acceleration, Skip Shift is disabled, and all gears are available. See Manual Transmission.
